Free trial period gap and final registration

If we sign up after our free trial period ends, will we have to import all of our data again?

We don't need the service until August (when our summer show period begins) but we wanted become familiar with your data import/export features and requirements before then.

Is it possible to sign up now, hibernate the account, start importing our data, then reactivate our account in August?

Please help let us know what our options.

   Hey Rob -

   In Hibernation, your account is effectively "read only" and so you'd need to be active to upload data. You can't import data while hibernated. One idea would be to just pay for a single user subscription to take care of the import/export work, and then upgrade to more users when you need them in August.

   Handshake does not bill or grant access in increments of less than a month at a time. I don't think there's any confusion there but just wanted to point that out.

   Thanks for the update...we will most likely register one user, hibernate,
   create the data import/export Dynamics GP integration files offline, then
   start our registration August 1 (our first show doesn't start until the
   third week)and create more user accounts.

   I just wanted to make sure any work completed wasn't lost during the
   free/paid gap.
